Add More about the CA in the PI2 Training Material
Considering that cognitive assessements are generally considered the single best predictor of performance, please include more about the CA in the training material, e.g. a few pages in the Tool Kit (Companion) explaining the format, what it measures etc. Also add more ppt's about it, including how to communicate the result to an assessment taker. Today we spend time helping our clients use the CA; in the new format there is next to nothing to facilitate this discussion.

Pernille Flensted-JensenI would still like to advocate for this. There are two slides about the CA in the current deck - no info about the length of the assessment, what the format is (types of questions), languages it's available in, what it measures (the general cognitive ability), how to apply it or anything else (like what information you get in the CA report). We cannot expect clients to feel comfortable using it if we provide so little information about it.

Eric Huber AdminPernille - thanks for your feedback here. I have to admit that I'm not sure I agree with all of it, though! This comes from the slide notes of slide #20:
"The Cognitive Assessment is a 12-minute timed assessment. It includes 50 questions, but most don’t complete all of them. There are three types of questions: verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning. The Cognitive Assessment is different from the Behavioral Assessment which is untimed and has no right or wrong answers. The results of the PI Cognitive Assessment are valid and reliable, meaning that it measures what it says it measures and the results are repeatable.
Research shows us that cognitive ability is a strong predictor of job performance. Throughout the last century, hundreds of studies have been conducted comparing cognitive ability with job performance. The results show that general cognitive ability consistently predicts job performance better than any other assessment tool. In fact, it explains 31% of job performance." -

Eric Huber AdminBy my count, the cognitive assessment is mentioned more than 20 times in this deck and has 3 slides exclusively devoted to it. I take your point about not mentioning the languages it's available in - we will add that. We will also be adding the newly updated Cognitive Assessment Admin Guide for PI2. Is there anything else you feel needs to be included beyond that? Thank you!
