PI2 migration checklist- updating email addresses for employees
The support article linked in Step 3 ("Update employee records to include a business email") lacks clear, step-by-step instructions on how to manually update an employee's email in Legacy PI.
While it mentions updating emails and references the "Edit and manage your users" section, it doesn’t explain how to navigate to the correct page, locate the record, and make the update.
This causes confusion during PI2 upgrade prep. The real issue is not updating the user’s email in the admin panel it’s ensuring the email on the person page matches the employee’s business email.
Please add explicit steps for how to update the email on the person page in Legacy PI so users can complete this task accurately.
